getting codes 700 - transmission control and 735 - 5th gear ratio incorrect when driving hwy speeds and i stomp on little skinny pedal. i then loose od. pull over to side of road, check than erase these codes than back at er. what is the cause of these codes and how can i remedy them properly ( other than not having as much fun ). i assume it is due to my tuner. do i need a shift kit or something. how much damage am i causing?

only have couple thousand left to put toward tranny. what should i purchase or should i wait? dont plan on any more hp.

Does this happen on the down shift into 4th or when it wants to go back to 5th. Had a similar problem with my '02 when it was at the point it should have shifted back into 5th. Limp mode instead. Dealer replace valve body in the transmission and never had a problem again.

Your putting too much power to your tranny and it cant handle it. Your stock tranny is on borrowed time. I would turn the power down until your ready for a tranny, or else your going to be up against a new one sooner than later.

took tuner off and tried alot to make truck go into limp mode with no luck. guess thats good luck. will keep tuner off, sadley, until i get another type of tranny or parts.

so , what am i looking to buy. dont plan on any other mods. ideas?
