This has probably been discussed, but since loading setting #2 with the Hypertech, there is a slight hesitation or pause when shifting from 2nd to 3rd under normal driving conditions. Is this because the Allison is still in learn mode or did I do something wrong? Thanks.

I had it too, it took a little while and it does adjust it's self, but not exactly like it was, but close enough.

Your tranny is recieving alot more torque so it well be acting different ,and it well learn.

I loaded the HT III a week ago before I went to New Orleans, same thing happened to me. I've since put 2000 miles on my truck and now it shifts fine.

give it some time.

might as well load it to level 3, let the tranny learn that. alot of fun

I second that motion. Mine seemed a little different at first, but was then fine after a couple of days.

It has been doing it for two weeks and 2000 miles now. I was told that if I use level 3, that I would need to upgrade the exhaust and intake. Is this the case? I really have no intention of doing so.

Not sure Tel9000, I typically kept mine at Level 2, except for a few test burnouts on level 3.
