I just loaded bobo's tune from the library, the stock trans idle fix and drove around for a little and got 2 codes. they were P0045 and a U1000. I looked up the codes but dont know what would cause them. Any help? thanks

Well, I did about 2 seconds of research and from what I can figure...

P0045 is a boost related code. It would seem to me that the ECM tried to run some sort of boost test, but there was something that buggered it up. Possibly the test was turned off, but was still selected to "report" rather than "not reported".

The U1000 is a "class 2 data link" issue. Maybe you got this one when you were tuning the truck and it tired to tune something and couldn't connect o the module, or you have a module unhooked or something along those lines.

I dont think either of those codes are anything to call home about, they are annoying though. You could turn them off by checking out your tune under "engine diagnostics" and "DTC ... Enablers".

Hit me up with a PM... maybe I can help you with your tune or something. I've got no idea what Bobo's tune is all about there but I think we could do you up something good.

On edit: I dont see a reason for those codes to come up... I'd have to look at the tune. Sometimes with the "lb7 idle mod it will throw some boost related codes. Dunno about the U1000. In my tune I still have those DTC's reporting and I dont ever have them come up as problems.

thaks bud pm sent. yeah the u1000 I thought was wierd and the p0045 I saw was an turbo vane control solenoid I think. prob from the lb7 idle. Idk about the u1000 have no idea what that is all about. Thanks for the help. Yeah truck still runs fine w codes but is a pain to keep clearing them

I had a similar problem but I fixed it, i dont remember what I did though, but it will hit me when I see it

Thanks steezy yeah Ill take all the help I can get. The bobo tune is from the library and it's the lly stock trans starter tune idle fix 2. The tune runs great but ramdomly gives those codes. today I only got the P0045 code. Thanks again for the help
