hey, i finaly got my truck back running... kinda had some problems with the belt but got it fixed let it run for a while gave some throttle to make sure it wouldnt throw the belt and it went to knocking, had the pump advanced alot turned it back down started to get get a little quieter started letting off on injectors sounds alot better, but cracked one of the injectors and the top half spun on me. Problem? I guess this isnt good im difinatly dumping to much fuel somewhere, these injectors do that often? this mean there probaly bad? i got them from the guys at ssd gunna give them a call in the morning just figured id ask opinions.

If the injectors were just replaced I would guess you have some air left in the system. The top half of the injector should not turn. The air will work it's way out in no time if you have it running.

Is the nozzles what is loose. They should be tight. Tighten the injectors into the heads using new copper washers (make sure the old ones are out of the head) to 59ft/lbs. The lines get tightened to 24ft/lbs. Turn on the lift pump and bleed any air out of the fuel filter. The truck should start after a few cranks unless you get an airlock situation. The truck may have a rough idle and the injectors may knock for a little until all the air bubbles are out and then smooth out.

The top half of the injector should be torqued to 44 ft/lbs.I've seen them loose and I simply tightened them up and never had a problem.
