I have looked and looked, and searched for hours tryin to find threads or photos of where to tap the boost and egt probe. If anyone could help out it would be greatly appreciated.

for the boost gauge, the most accurate place to tap is the intake manifold which is where the plastic black intercooler tube and your intake manifold meet on the passenger side. i taped mine into the intercooler tube on the driver side, but i get high readings for boost. for the egt probe, you can tap either the driver or passenger side exhaust manifolds or just buy a bd manifold which corrects gm's design flaw in the driver side manifold and it also comes with a pre drilled and taped hole for your probe. hope this helps. if not let me know and ill try and get some better references for you. take it easy.

For your boost gauge, remove your intake manifold off of the motor, drill and tap it on the back side- making sure that it is in a spot clear of contact! For the egt- remove your drivers side inner fenderwell and install it in the exhaust manifold! A little tip on keeping the shavings out is to have the truck on idle when drilling, and when tapping put a little grease on the tap to trap the filings! GOOD LUCK Steven

So.Cal.Diesel phone # 661-775-5620 has a manifold/new hose that replaces the blue hose that connects off the turbo to intercooler.
The boost will read a few lbs higher there.
If you don`t want all the work removing the intake drilling and taping,
this is a decent way to go for the boost.
Install time was about 15 min providing you already have the line run.
On the egt probe,where everyone else said.

I pulled the drivers fender and pulled the aluminum tube from the intercooler to the intake. More acurate reading from there.

While I was there I swapped for the bd manifold with the egt port right there. Pretty simple install. Everything right where it goes through the firewall.
