I just replaced my fog lenses this past weekend and need to get new bulbs. I have been going thru the archives and looking all over the web for some replacements for the 9145 in the new “white” lights. I want to replace all lighting to these, just cannot find anything in the 9145. I called <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /><st1:City><st1:place>Sylvania</st1:place></st1:City> today and the girl I talked to said they just had a meeting Friday about the release of the 9145 SliverStar being pushed back to June! I know I can put the 9005 in, but that may have led to the demise of the lenses, so I don’t wanna go that route.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p>

What I have found, it looks as though the 9005, 9145 and the H3 look like the same plug, but the H3 and the 9005 are higher watts. What I did find is an H10 is being sold to replace the 9145, AND is the same wattage (42W). Has anyone tried one in a ‘03+ GMC fog light? I know the stock 9145 is hard enough to find, but what about the H10’s?<o:p></o:p>

This is a real Pain in the Arse…..<o:p></o:p>

I did have to re-aim the fogs too, they were aimed way too high....
good luck,

Anyone upgrade the fogs to 9005 HID lights. Wondering how the lense likes these before making the switch.

I had the 9005's in mine, and my lenses went to Sheet after about 8 months. Since they were suck a pain to change, I want to keep the same wattage.

The GMC's have a smaller (round) lens while the Chebby is wider, larger. This may be why they last longer in the Chevy's.
I just picked up a rock on my left lens in my GMC, it is cracked in two places. Can the lenses be replaced or do I have to purchase the entire unit?
I would also like to go to the Siver Stars whenever they get out!

You need to get a new lens. With my mom's dealer discount, they are $67 a piece. Better off getting the entire kit from Eric. I got lucky. A buddy was trading his 2500HD (with a gasser) in yesterday. He came over saturday and I "traded" him lenses. His were replaced this summer after hitting a deer, so they are like new. Once mine got a crack, they let water in and I was blowing bulbs left and right.
They were a real pain to change. You need to remove all headlight/turn signal lense to get to two blots that hold the fog ligh brkts. As usual, not much room to work and your working blind. Once the brkts are loose, you need to remove the adjustmet screw, then pry the lense out and fish it thru the front facia. From what I experienced, I could not get the lense out while attached to the brkt, there was too much interference with other objects.
Look at this link http://store.racinglab.com/noarwhprohah1.html . It says the bulbs are the same a the 9145 with the same wattage (45).

I just purchased some nokia 9145 super white 7000k bulbs from ebay. Just log on and search 9145. It will pull up all bulbs available by sellers.

What is the light's color that you see? I'm going to be running 6000k HID lights for the high and low beams. These have a bluish tint so I'd like to match up the fog lights without melting the lense.
