I need to replace my Yokohama AT's. I wasn't too impressed with the Yokahama tread life so I'm going to go with a different brand.

I'm thinking either 285/75R16:
- Nitto Terra Grappler AT's
- Firestone Destination A/T's

They're both around $800 for 4 tires shipped. More than I wanted to spend. Are there any other tires I should be considering? Hopefully cheaper. Opinions on the two above?

Thanks.

I Have Nitto's Now And For An On Road Tire They The Ridht Ones For The Job. But If You Get Into Any Off Road Place That Gets Kinda Sporty Then They Dissapoint.

That's exactly where I looked. They are $172 each for me. What am I missing?

Can you post a direct link?

Here's the link I'm using:

just remove the replacement certificates and valve stems from your cart and that will get your price down.

unless your towing heavy loads you will probably be ok with the load range d's.

I don't tow, I thought maybe the higher tow rating would mean better tread life.. I'm probably way off with that.. So D is ok?

I tow a boat a couple of times a year, nothing big.

I just took off my Destination A/T's. They wore good and had no road noise whatsoever. I got H2s put on last week and went with the Nittos. I considered putting the Destinations on, but couldnt beat the price on the Nittos, plus I wanted a little more aggressive tire. With aggressive tires comes the noise.

I was impressed with the Destinations, and have no feedback on the Nittos yet, only had them 4 days.

i would definitely go with the d rated ones since you arent pulling much, they will give you a better ride also.basically e rated is 3750 pounds max load where as d rated is 3305 max load and e rated can hold a little more air.
