I bought a Heath remotely mounted PMD kit and when I went to install it I couldn't determine exactly where to plug in the new harness. I can see the old PMD mounted on the side of the injection pump. The cable seems to go off of the PMD toward the back of the engine (under the intake manifold so I can't see it) but I can't figure out where it plugs in to the pump. Any info. would be greatly appreciated.

the plug is right on the pmd the harness will un clip from the pmd the wires will un clip off the back side of the black box they do not come out of the pmd. once un cliped plug in your harness to the harness in the truck route to where you want the new pmd and mount

So what I'm gonna end up doing is using the old harness to connect to the pump? That works. Thanks!

Unplug the old harness from the old pmd.

Plug the new harness into the old harness.

Plug the other end of the new harness into your new pmd.

Simple.



One end of the old harness will still be connected to the pump, and the other end of the old harness is connected to the new harness which runs to the new pmd.

PUMP----OLD PMD HARNESS----NEW PMD HARNESS----NEW PMD

All connected, just like that.

Clear as mud, right?
