That looks awesome.
The PML is an excellant choice. That will be my next purchase.
Have you looked at the Deep sump pans, i went with the one gmdieleltech sells. you save over 100.00 and each 100.00 saved goes tosomething else i want.

Looks good and is probably better than those ones that are black powder coated as far as dissipating any heat.

I could probably find the answer, but does that one use an o-ring or a gasket?

RTV make your own gaskest, I was a little nervous about it, but so far so good.

T-Rex,

Your exactly correct on the powder coating issue. The PML's are anondized (SP) to keep corrosion at bay, but are still as cast aluminum. The powder coated diff covers and tranny pans others sell are actually holding in heat as powder coating is a VERY good insulator. Kind of like putting a blanket over your radiator in the summer.

This is one of the main reasons we sell only the PMl products, they hold the right amount of fluid to lower temps, they are not powder coated to dissapate as much fluid temp as possible and are the best quality out there.

Mark, is the silicone gaskest going to last long term? I thought about trying to get a different kind, but lazyness & instructions seems to influence me.

I have the same cover on my Dodge, same rear end, I wonder if you could use the Dodge factory gasket on the GM with the PML cover? The gasket is flat with three ridges in it that go all the way around, kind of like O-rings. The gasket is tough rubber, reusable and does not require any type of sealant.
