Step Number 8 says to Release the tabs on the wire end of the connector for access to the back of the connector....Which tabs are they talking about. I was trying to get the plastic off the back of the connector but I am not seeing any release tabs. I think I am just being a retard but could someone help a guy out :) Thank you! I wish I had my digi camera on hand so I could take a pic. I have all the covers off and the ECM connector unbolted from the ECM. Now I am just trying to get access to the terminal so I can add the wire but the plastic on the back of the ECM connector is in the way if that makes sense. I just didn't see a way to release it from the ECM connector. Max Power 03-13-2005, 06:55 PM The little plastic pieces that go down into the plug are clips. Push them in towards the center and pull up on the cover to release them You also need to release the plastic clip retainer cover on the part that plugs into the module. There are clips on each end that you push in and pop the cover off. Thanks again. ski1 03-13-2005, 07:22 PM did you unscrew the bolt on the back of the connector ? cant remember as it was slong ago that I did it, but then I think you push out the tabs on the end of the grey connector and jsut pull off the blue plastic dust cover. again, this is a little fuzzy | ||
