there is a recall on 07 trucks with heated washer fluid, it ma melt the wires due to excessive heat and may lead to a fire.

D/AChris 10-03-2008, 09:33 AM I believe all it is going to be is a wire with a fuse, connected on the 12V wire going into the heating unit at the bottom of the washer fluid container. Kind of like what Ford did with the Cruise control issues catching fire. You can get those all day long for $1 at Wal-Mart, AutoZone, etc. I'm going that way, not waiting until something happens.
