1bad01 12-06-2003, 12:18 AM I have an 01 dmax with 90hp juice and a 4 in exhaust and I was wondering why my service engine soon light comes on when I go up a hill and push the truck a little harder than normal. As soon as I reach the top of the hill and let off the gas the light goes out. (I live in a mountainous area) It happens nearly every time. (Stock 01) Mine was blowing black smoke while the SES light was on also. The dealer replaced the boots sensor. Hope this help. Mackin 12-08-2003, 06:31 AM Have you had all the current ECM upgrades ??
