Well I just bought a new quad 215 and it worked fine when bought. I bought new camper mirrors and had dealership reflash computer. This is where I think the problem is.....the guy that reflashed....i wasn't too sure of but oh well but he reflashed all three computers not knowing to reflash the driver side controls instead of the engine computer and so on. Now I go to load the quad on ...throwing codes and errors on the quad screen and will not load. Is there now a ECM problem or any one have this prob before.

Was your truck back to stock when he re-flashed, or was the quad still loaded in???

Can you restore saved data with the Quad........did you pull your fuses like the instructions say when loading.......:confused:

I never got any instructions with mine, therefore I hae never pulled any fuses or done anything special while loading it. I just plug it in and go. I even check engine codes while driving down the raod. So maybe I need some instructions. JK????????


If you had the Quad in while you had an ECM update your screwed. You will have to have Quad reflash your tuner.

I beleive the Predator is the only tuner that can suffer an ECM upgrade and still work correctly. It comes at the price of a vinlock.

Yes the tuner was off of the truck at the time of the reflash...maybe I will try the pulling the fuse deal. I have always been able to just turn the truck off and plug in tuner and turn key to on position.

Sound like you had better send it to Quad for an update. Just send it in, asking for the latest version. It will come back fixed. If you want different tunes or the new 10 tune you will proablly have to send your CC#. I am not sure how Quad handles it.

Anycase send it US postal with a delivery confirmation. Write your tuner levels and phone number on some paper. You will get it back or a phone call in about 2 days.
