I have been trying to figure out where to put my Sirius receiver, I have an 01 with the center console. Any ideas??

Here it is:

some guys put them in the overhead counsil, or stick it to the left corner of the dash. i have the buckets with the center counsil and i stuck mine inbetween the 2 cigarette lgihters in that little cubby hole.

I wish I had an 03 style dash.

On my 01, my overhead console had a blank cover where the rear a/c controls would have gone. I took my Starmate and drew an outline of it on the cover and then took my dremel and made a nice hole and then on the backside there were four bosses that stuck up. With the material i had cut out I made little tabs, drilled holes in them and then put the screws through the tabs and into the bosses on the back side of the cover. That way when you pushed the buttons on the starmate you didnt push it through the cover. It looked factory! No pics due to I got rid of the truck a few years ago.

I replaced the tape deck with a custom plate and mounted the sirius to it. Looks slick and lights up the center console area also.
