Thinking 'bout changing out the factory one, wonderin' if anyone has anything good or bad to say about the Rancho. Looking at Rancho because it's available near me, Fabtech isn't. Thanks.

I replaced the OEM with a Rancho and had some minor concerns re: the size match; i.e. the Rancho was about a half an inch shorter than OEM. After hearing that there had been some Ranchos pulling apart, I went ahead and purchased the Fabtech. It is the exact length as the OEM and the cyclinder is much larger, which in theory should keep the fluid temps. down in heavy use.

I don't know how accurate the temps. theory is. I am more comfortable with the Fabtech sizewise.

Good luck,

Mark

temp is not a concern with a steering stabilizer, more so on shocks but not in our applications. you have to get into long travel applications such as off road racing ( Baja 500, etc) before it becomes a problem.

Thanks guys, for the info.

Mark, looks like 'blizzard' is going to get back with a new #'ed Rancho so will wait and see what he says about it.

'blizzard', Thanks, be great if the Rancho works. Save me a trip off the mountain.
