When I opened the filter up...

In the pan....

I had a p0729 and a p0734 code when I decided to take a look at this. The trans performed fine until the codes showed up. I'm guessing the trans needs to come out...quite a bit of material to seem like "normal" wear.

Removed the trans tonight/this morning, all of the clutches looked good besides one set, on the front half all the way back, C-3's??
Anyways the pics show the damage done to these clutches which really to my surprise wasn't all that bad.
Here are those pics from the only clutches that I saw to have any wear or sign of slipping

Mike, or any of the other trans builders on here, I am wondering if the dark coloring on the steels is normal??

For any others who are considering a built trans,
THIS WAS MY FAULT! I didn't change my filters regularly like I should have, maybe 25K on both filters. I think my trans was for the most part...fine, the filters were just plugged and it caused fluid shortages. So don't be discouraged, I was very happy to see that the trans after TONS of abuse and neglect(filters) was in great shape minus a few clutches...
