Hey guys, first post in this section, my dad just picked up his LMM last week.
He drives between 75-90 mph. Just wondering what kind of milage to expect. The PSD with 411s in the ass got 12.5. Is the LMM gonna do any better?

Haha depends if the dpf is deleted or not. Deleted at the speed and stock tires expect 13-16. With the dpf pry 11-14. Deleted at 65-70 17-21mpg. stock 16-19
Don't expect to much a 90 mph.

I get about 15 in town, and have seen 22 on the highway.. but it averages 19.7 on the highway.
and 15-16 towing a 7500lb load at 70mph.

he actually says he got 14 actually calculating it out. Now to talk him into straight piping it for that additional 4mpg. :D

I'm running a straight piped LMM and there isn't a 4 mpg gain, at least not for me. I've gained 1 maybe 2mpg but I'm running the 90hp tune not the econ. I ran econ for a little and the mileage didn't seem to go up so I bumped it to 90.
edit: I mostly run short trips. So most of my driving is warming it up. If i do any continuous driving I've seem some pretty good numbers but not 4 mpg. The other night I was running 16.7 mpg all city and I was playing with some dodges too.

From my experience, the key to better MPG's is less MPH's.
11-14 @ 90mph sounds pretty darn good.
I see quite a mpg drop from 60mph to 70mph & even more with more mph

We have 18000 miles on the LMM now, and only once have we even been close to 21 mpg. Most freeway tanks average 18.7 - 19.4 mpg hand calculated with gps verification. In town we get a disappointing 14 mpg. Stock tune still...

follow up:
He reported 13.5 mpg and just called me telling me he needs the top speed governor removed, so I guess my speed assumption was a little low.
I'll post back next time he fills it up.
Someone has to do a no BS fast driving mileage check, right?
