What would the negative effect of disconnecting current tothe cp3,what kind of pressue would you see on a lbz, could you put a switch in-line to stop current, will the cp3 go to max pressure, and what will it accomplish? in regards to power gain.

It will max out the cp3 probably 26000 +- pending the condition of your cp3
you got to be carefull if you install a switch though unless you somehow run it off TPS

picture going down the road hit WOT hit the switch, car pops out of know where and now you not only have to hit the brakes but hit the switch

there are better ways of doing this

Simon its not like the engine is going to run away or be uncontrollable if you disconnect the fuel pressure regulator. That cant happen.

Remember the ECM will always compensate by cranking back the pulse width.

that being said, its a more or less a pointless idea because you can acocmplish the same thing with efilive

I still installed a switch and use the DSP output:)

Before EFI Live, I used to do this on my LLY. Worked well and gained close to 2k of rail pressure. EFI can do this now. I had a toggle switch wired to a WOT switch.

Can anyone tell me how to get more rail pressure electronically without a using tuning device?

I am also very interested in this. I already have an alarming switch and WOT switch. Which wire would you need to disconnect to the cp3?

do you guys plan to run this mod on a stock tranny????

If you have a stock turbo, forget it, it cant even clean up all the smoke withOUT this mod.

I suggest investing in efi live and doing it that way. Its more than worth the money. And you'll never need another programmer or module or funky wiring tricks ever again.
