Weird question... Lately when I'm driving at night, I can see white smoke in the headlights when stopped. Its hard to tell where it is coming from. No white smoke coming out the tail pipe, no diesel in the oil, runs great. And ideas ?

Could be crankcase vapors coming from vent tube.Depends on how the breeze is blowwing when you stop, but the breather tube is up by the front crank pulley.........

That might explain it. Looking under the truck from the front, that sounds about right where its coming from. Its pretty noticeable at times.

Make sure your not overfull on oil, .. ..that can cause excessive blowby..less room in the pan, means greater pressure

Mine does the same thing. No worries, it's just the crank case breather.
