AFE STAGE II intake kit. I just bought it and have been running it for about 3 weeks now. $350 and no complaints here. It will boost low end torque and make the turbo spool up quicker and the whistle will be a tad louder. I would definately reccomend it.

I use VOLANT system. Paid a little of $300. Running it for about 1 1/2 yrs. Good system. See it installed on my truck by clicking on the link in my signature below. The pic is towards the bottom of the page.

Hey SSDURAMAX, slight different design but same overall increased air flow. They sell systems for both the LB7 and LLY. Message me if you want more info.

HDjeff,

The AFE Pro Guard 7 is the way to getto get more air and still keep the dirt out, the 4 layer gauze filters just don't stop the dirt! We have a special inventory reduction sale right now on the LLY Stage II Pro Guard 7 intake systems too, check our site.

How do these intake systems work in heavy rain and or very dusty/sandy conditions?

You'd think with an open box it would allow the filter to get dirty much faster?

Hey Mike, thats one of many reasons I went with VOLANT. Click on the link below in my signature and see it installed on my rig. (looks kinda like OEM box...closed!)

If anyone wants more pics of the system, let me know.
