I have installed a DVD/VCP and want to route the audio through the radio system.

FM Modulator - how difficult is it to get to the antenna so I can use an in line modulator.

Or

Is there another way? My Radio says CD Aux - what does Aux mean? Is there a way to add an auxilary sound device input like my CD/VCP?

Thanks in advance.

I would stay away from the FM modulator if you could. You can get aux hook-up from jpcustoms.com. If you don't see what you need just ask them. Excellent customer service.

FWIW, my overhead DVD player has a wireless FM modulator and I still went with the aux hook-ups----much better sound. In the set-up menu of the DVD player I could shut down the modulator.

The antenna wire runs down the front passenger side pillar, IIRC.

Look here: http://www.jpcustoms.com/store/customer/home.php?cat=306

Off the top of my head you could probably use the Version 2 AAI-GM24 or the switched AAI-GM12. Better look carefully to be sure.

The folks at http://www.pac-audio.com/ are helpful too.
