Has anyone had to replace thier injectors on an 04 LB7? Is the dealer doing the all 8 + 100k thing for 04 yet? Just some ? Mine are ok so far, but I have been thinking about this issue alot. Just curious.

They didn't replace all 8, but seems to be running fine since then. Jay We should knock on wood!!:eek: deadfurrow 03-13-2005, 02:24 PM When GM extended the warranty on '01 & '02 injectors, they said they would look at '03 & '04 LB7 injector replacements with 100k+ miles on a case by case basis. I've often wondered if GM has actually ever covered an injector replacement on an '03 or '04 LB7 with more than 100k miles. Has anyone ever heard of one? I should be at 100k+ miles later this summer, & dread the thought of having to pay for an injector replacement. Cracked the piston and straight broke the rod.. Happened on a Army move too, from georgia to alaska. Deadlined for 2 weeks while GM put in the new engine.
