I was wondering how many have added Timbrens to their vehicles and what have your impressions been using them. Are they worth it and do you feel they protect the springs and vehicle as well as they state? I will be towing about 15-20% of the time.
Thanks

I just ordered my Timbrens from www.truckspring.com (http://www.truckspring.com) for $143.95. My understanding after reading several users posts here and elsewhere, they are well worth it. I believe that the 1 inch clearance above the axle per the installation instructions is very important.

I have front and back sitting a box and getting installed this week. Incidentally, I believe that the front yokes (?) normally sit on the bump stops in the vanilla DM/HD.

I have them installed on the front. Along with bilsteins and ss sleeves and tbars cranked a few turns to help clearance on 285 bfgoodrich at. The one inch clearance i believe is for rear. I am going with kennedys air bags for rear. I heard that timbrens on rear are pretty stiff. Cant say for sure tho.

They were really helpful (and critical) for level towing on my Dodges.

I have them on my Dmax, but probably not that necessary given the weight I haul.

They are real easy to install (I just use them on the rear) and do not alter handling characteristics much.

Cheers.
