not sure if this should be here or in the air and fuel system section so to the moderator, sorry if this is in the wrong place.

-i recieved my ppe boost controller last night,
-install was quick and easy, although the mounting was a little difficult because the wire from the switch and knob was a little short.

performance wise, i couldnt be any happier. my edge unit gave me a noticeable amount of power compared to stock but it seemed to die out in top end. now i have a consistent amount of power through out the whole rpm range through every gear. my spool up time was dramatically cut down to where i have almost no turbo lag at all, and the throttle response is amazing. it will throw me back in the seat and its great.

i reccomend that anyone with an over the counter tuning that doesnt have boost additives programmed into it (like efi and hp tuners) get this product.

im more than pleased with my purchase and its a noticeable increase in power that is well worth the money.

hope this helps anyone who was debating on this product

Hey I wanted to know with your boost controler, can you turn it down at idle and get that low LB7 rumble. I'm not exactly sure of what all it will let you do.

I have an 07 LBZ with ppe standard on level 2 and air box mod with K&N and a 5"mbrp strait pipe. woudl i be fine to get this boost controller without a boost guage?

Yeah It doesn't make that much more over stock. Plus they designed it so it won't over boost. Personally I took mine off and got Fleece's Turbo Brake instead. It lets me turn the boost up and I have an exhaust brake. Just a thought.

i dont pull at all so im not sure on how bad i need an exhaust break and i have a buddy that i can get his ppe boost controller for only $100. so i figured that if i dont need a boost guage and stuff then why not(which i will be getting in the next year).

so is it worth the money? in your honest opinion? as in improving spool time and some hp

also hillbilly how do you like the afe turbo inlet tube? was it worth the money in your opinion? hp and mpg wise.

and also the res delete and the pvc reroute? good choices... or can i live without them right now.

First off, if you don't need the brake and you just want a little more boost, for $100 I would get the controller from your buddy. I spent $900 for the Turbo Brake. The Inlet tube did help with spool, just holding the two tubes next to each other and you could see the aFe would flow more air. The resonator delete is only if you don't like the plastic "6.6" looking at you, but the PCV reroute is a good thing to do. It keeps oily residue from building up on the inside of your intake. Look at the inlet boot on your turbo, ever wonder why it's dirty and coated with oil? Ever since I rerouted mine and installed the larger boost tube with the new boot 10k miles ago, the boot still looks new.

Bottom line I have done just about everything I can except replace the turbo, to help my truck breathe better. At 70 MPH on the highway I average between 20 to 21 MPG so I must be doing something right.

yeah you must be im getting about 19mpg at 70 mph. so the inlet tube is worth the money and the PVC route is deffinetly a good idea for the to do list then?

and i have decided to get the diablo sport extreme power puck and stack it with the ppe i have now only on level 2, i will not crank the power puck up past 25 to 30 hp. only reason i want to do this is bacasue then i can adjust a little power on the fly and because i dont not want to put my ppe on level 3, 160hp (112whp) so level 2, 90hp (63whp) and another 25 whp on top of that will be a good safe amount without jumping all teh way up to 112whp and i will have the ability to adjust on the fly.....
