What size of drill bit & Tap is need to install an EGT via the "Hoot" method? Any info would be great, thanks.

James The HOOT method is specific to that probe and some are different. Use the instructions privided for drill and tap sizes. I modified the HOOT method and just hooked the outlet of my shop vac to the exhaust and turn it on (no engine runnimg) or you could use a leaf blower just a couple wraps of duct tape to the tailpipe. jeazor 03-14-2005, 07:15 AM Ok thanks for the replys I'm just gonna have to wait till I get my instructions as suggested.
