I just got my hot+2 back from ppe. I had it upgraded to an E.T. I want to know what tp select to keep the defuel on. I have not upgaded my tranny yet and i need it to last through harvest. I am currently running tune 3 and i selected no nodefuel. I just wondered if this was correct. It shifts awesome but i really cant feel the defuel like i could before i upgaded to the E.T. Thanks, Jake.

A buddy of mine had his on 6 and blew his tranny up with in 2 weeks.....so maybe 4 or 5.

Keep it on 1 or 2 if you want defuel, but you should be able to turn defuel back ON on any tune. It was one of the questions I asked in that thread.

The menu is kinda of confusing to me. The way i understood it was that if you made no changes and just loaded the tune it would have the defuel turned off. So i changed the defuel option so it showed no nodefuel on the screen before it loads the tune. I just wanted to verify if this was correct.

I was under the impression that all levels were set for defuel except level 10(lv10 was "no defuel" even if you changed the setting).

If you wanted "no defuel" on all levels, 1-9, you had to make the change manually then load the program. The menu's are a little confusing.

LBZ only has 7 levels.
If you load tunes 3-7 defuel is OFF automatically, not touching anything in the menus.
If you want defuel ON you have to change it in the menu.

Thank you. That is what i thought. So i did understand it right and i am currently tune 3 with defuel on. Even with the defuel turned on it seems to shift better than before i upgaded. I also didnt remeber getting 28-30 psi of boost out of tune 3. I am very pleased with the upgrade.

I ran the 300 tune with defuel for 5 months with a stock tranny, I just got done rebuilding it and c2, c3, and c4 clutches were burnt with c3 being the worst.
