I found an old post from pontiac59 - very informative, this is a conversion I pretty much have to do, the clamshell on a burban sucks, wiring problems, rust problems, never opens when needed, and the back is virtually useless if you cant get stuff in and out - so, with this good verbal description, I would like to know how many people have done this conversion? pictures are worth everything to me, I know enough to get into a project and get it done, but this is my daily driver so I would like to get it done in 1 weekend. I have a 1990 suburban. PLEASE pontiac59 post some pics of your conversion here, with details if you can? or email them to me, anyone else that may have some pictures would be great. I have a feeling with gas prices what they are lately suburbans are being sold left and right for dollars, and I could find a donor if needed.
