Hey Folks,
I've got a few simple questions that I hope can get a few simple answers to.
1. I've read that the OEM intake and filter are more than the Dmax require. So
I'm not really looking for the cool factor of a cone filter & metal tube. Unless
this is the only way to increase the turbo whine. Does anyone know of a
way to get more whine out of the OEM setup.
2. Im getting ready to finally getting ready to swap the exhaust out and am
considering the aeroturbine. Has anyone heard or used this product before?
As a ex- aircraft mechanic the theory sounds solid. Just dont know how real
on this small of a scale/ application. Here's the address to them http://www.aero-turbine.com

That is not gonna do anything...........

Super Diesel is making crazy HP/TQ with a Stock Airbox.......save your money and buy something worth while...........

I am running an AFE and it sounds cool, but I would have beed fine with the stock airbox for sure.........

I swiss cheesed the stock airbox and fabricated a 4" aluminum intake pipe... Basically, all you need is two 45 degree angled rubber hose (for each end of the aluminum pipe), a piece of aluminum with a 45 degree angle (cut to size to fit) and 4 rubber hose clamps. Works like a charm and produces a nice whistle... best of all, it won't cost you very much. You will have tweak the rubber hose on the pipe to make it fit properly, doesn't take long though, maybe 10 minute install once I had everything ready to use.
