If you have one on your LLY, did you REALLY notice a drop in EGT's? I know they sound cool, but thats not what I'm interested in. Have you seen a quantifiable drop in EGT's, especially when towing? Any input appreciated.

I don't think that the air intake will make a whole lot of difference in the EGT's. Opening up the exhuaust (removing the cat also) will do the most unless you want to add water injection.

it does actually help - i had the aft stage 2 when it first came out but got rid of it because i wasnt sold on it - but got another one 2 weeks ago before a towing trip, and it did reduce the egts. it definitely decreased egts by anywhere from 25-90 depending on conditions. anything to decrease them is good in my book and the turbo does spool slightly faster as well
