Does anyone know if the 05 grill will fit an 04.5? It appears that the 05 grill may provide greater air flow and thus (hopefully) slightly better cooling in the heat of summer.

Any input would be appreciated.

Search the "Over Heating" thread in here, one of the guys did some measuring, looks like they are waiting on some warm weather to do some more testing.

The 05 is way different than 04 the hood is different and the top section above the core support are different , I have had the o'heat with a trailer ,I did a lot to try and improve air flow still gets hot on apull with a trailer , does not matter if hot or cold out just takes longer when its cold so sometimes I crest the hill before its acyually saying hot. if I go slow it will maintain ,just seems nuts to have a truck that will pull a hill at 60 + and have to go 25 .

I didn't even know the 05 was different.
