Just wondering if anybody knows of a quick way to install a boost gauge on a 93 mechanical 6.5L? I know I should pull the intake off and drill and tap it, but I am wondering if there is a quicker and easier way. Thanks.

But don't I still have to pull it off in order to tap it? Then do I need to replace the gasket if there is one? Obviously, I have never taken it off!

The gasket will be shot. get a new one first. They're always brittle when old.

If that's what I gotta do, I guess that's what I gotta do.

Oh, would it be advantageous to have the intake polished or anything else done to it while I have it off? I know I shouldn't have all that extra webbing that the electricals have though.

Put it in a place that won't put the line in a bind.
