Yesterday i took my 2002 duramax to the track for the first time. all i have on it is an exhaust big head waste gate and the pacific performance programer. ( i set it to the extream program of course) well i was hoping for at least a 9.90 well i get there first run was an 9.74 i was happy lol by my 5th run i got it down to a 8.93 at 75 mph and a 1.92 0 to 60 foot time. the crowed loved it nothing but black somke down the whole track. i beat an SRT-4, a 2002 Mustang gt, and a few hondas. i had a great time. i love this turck

Thats what I am working on, getting down in the mid 12's. Pulling the lift and big tires off on sunday, working on getting a trans and convertor in then working on the short times.
Brandon, what kind of power are you making to go the 12.30's? Need an idea on how much more fuel and oxide I need to throw at this thing......

I don't see a lift pump on your rig, definitely a good idea to have one. My track combo with nitrous made 659 HP and 1200+ TQ on the dyno. My 539 HP and 1030 TQ on just fuel is good for 12.8 passes.
I think the truck has plenty enough power to faster, I just need to harness it better on the short times.
