how many miles are these filters lasting everyone?

I have 2 friends running them. One is at 14k w/ no problems and I am at just over 10k on mine.Given the fact that some have ran the smaller 0750 element for about 10k, the larger element (that ships with the kit) should be good for at least 15k.

I am at around 7K on my original 749 filter. Unless there is some reason to do it earlier, I plan on changing every 15K or one year, whichever comes first.


And here in snowy southern Vermont, I am having no problems whatsoever with gelled fuel or other such problems. However, when I drive up from a southern location, I try to make sure I fill the tank with local winterized diesel before I shut down for the night.
