Well I have had most problems everyone is posting about and I have cured my truck so I hope this can help some guys out.
I started off installing my box on a warm day and it worked awesome. Next day it was cold and the box wouldn't work. Did some searching on here and found out that the engine temp must be at 180 to work and the slip must be working not saying 100 and also the MOD temp must be 40* or over.
So I installed my trucks bra and for the most part this solved the problem most of the winter unless it was -20* then the mod temp would not come up but I figured hey I don't really need to be going that fast when its this cold out anyways.
Now it has since warmed up and I have removed the bra but it still dips down to -12 or lower in the mornings and my truck if left idling would reaching the mods 40* temp and after a few miles driving would reach 180* and enable the box. But I had a problem now that I was doing more highway driving the underhood temps would drop from the higher speed and colder temps and the box would stop working. The mod temp would get down to about 32*
What I did was take the box its self and zip tie it to the upper rad hose. This cured all my problems I can now drive witht he bra off and the rad hose keeps the mod around 70* all the time. Now it always works no matter how cold. It was -18* yesterday no bra and my additude worked awesome. Also on the highway it keeps the temp up enough to work as well never dipping below 60* with the increased wind movement under the hood. So far everything seems to work well now. I also don't get the slip 100 anymore if I leave the truck idle for 5 mins in the morning everything performs flawless. If I just jump in and go when its cold outside I get slip 100 for about 3 blocks till the mod temp comes up a bit and then Im good to go.
I really hope this helps some guys struggling with the additude it reallys works as advertised now that I keep the mod temperature higer Im very pleased.
