my dads partner at work bought an lmm a few months ago and now he is in need of some more power. the man's not really into the whole diesel tuning thing and is more the kind of guy that cuztomizes harleys instead of trucks and uses his trucks to pull his harley. the truck is used for alot of towing, both light and heavy. he wants to keep the stock exhaust and dpf in tact and just add a programmer or module.

i reccommended he look into banks products because i figured that would be the best tune to use for a little extra power on a dpf equipped truck

the truck is bone stock and i was wandering if banks is the only option for a tune that wont ruin the dpf or keep it in constant regen?

PPE works well with the DPF as well. Just keep the tune on 1 or 2 and it'll work out great !!!

I have them if he needs one.

Might want to search on the 4TH Generation electronics forum for the LMM, not the 3RD. :D This topic is gone over every day, all your questions are there. Try the search feature, you'll find more info than you care to know. Chris

Here's a link to a discussion right now about the Banks products on a stock LMM. http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/showthread.php?t=265057
