I have the S type engine and the EGR is entact, on the F type it's not. I see many people putting a blank off between the EGR and plenum and have not REALLY seen the pro's and con's to doing so. So what I'm asking is for someone to give me just that, relating to power, emissions, economy, EGT's, and whatever else this will effect. Is it worth it? I do have emissions in AZ, so if it will possibly jack me on the test I want to know this too.

I don't know bout AZ emissions but I know it will help keep you intake tract cleaner with it blocked off

The EGR is an emissions device that replaces the thermal value of fuel with exhaust. It is sapposed to give some economy but what it really does is clog up the intake.
