do the red and gray get tapped in? or are the wires actually cut..? must just be "tapped" right? help, i'm in the middle!

The red and gray wires get tapped in no cutting for them per the instructions. One of the vendors here, kennedy diesel has the instructions online if you do not have them. I would solder instead of using the quick tap splices to ensure wire security. The quick taps have been known to loosen up and cause intermittant problems.
