My 03' 2500HD D/A, smokes BLUE when i start it when its cold, Smokes blue sometimes when i floor it, smokes blue when its idling at a stoplight sometimes, and smokes blue when i am in level six, some times i shoot a small cloud of blue before a massive cloud of black when i floor it, also, ive seen puffs of white when i hit it hard. This intermittent blue smoke is bothering me, and i want it to stop. I have the banks six gun installed in my truck, and the a-pillar guages,my dealer is anal as heck about aftermarket stuff, does anyone know where I can get a stock a-pillar really cheap to put on for the dealer run? Could this be the synthetic 15w-40 AMSOIL that im running? Should i switch to a semi-synthetic oil or a conventional oil? Can my dealer legally viod my warranty for the Banks chip? Also, since my guages are linked to my chip, and wont work without it can i leave them in there and say that i had them disconnected or something? thanks:help: :help: :help: :help:

What kind of cold temperatures are you talking about? Does it stopping smoking blue when the truck warms up? When it is really cold here in Ohio, my truck will smoke a little on startup and warmup, then goes away when I reach normal operating temperatures. As a caution, I would go the dealership and have them check the balance rates on your injectors... as far as your upgrades, you MUST take them off before going to the dealership no matter what, at this point there's no alternative. Find a way to get them off and take it in before it's too late.

See, the problem is that I have a Banks Six Gun in the truck, with the A-Pillar guages, they are hooked to the Chip and my dealer is really anal about aftermarket stuff, I also will have to remove my intake to get them to replace injectors. I only want to remove my stuff unless im sure. My friend took his truck to the dealer with only an intake and they voided his warrany. He was so pissed off that he sold his truck and bought a Dodge.

I'd be more worried about the white smoke. In the world of gas burners that means water in the cylinder.
