Hey guys,

Finally talked my pops into putting a Straight on his 05 CTD 600 and man that thing is loud totally badass.

I thought that the MAX was loud, it cant hold a candle to this thing. Its a beast.

What kind of programmer or box(either or) is everybody seeing the best driveablity with and mileage and maybe if it isnt to much to ask a kickass high hp tune for the occassional mustang.

Wolford, did he just remove muffler and striaght pipe or did he also remove cat? If removed cat, is the exhaust stench more like a diesel truck and not that nasty smell I get from the exhaust with the cat?

I heard a new dodge diesel and I think the muffler was removed, you're right it was totally bad and I loved it.

TST has the most powerful box, you cannot use it to its full potential with the stock or any single turbo.I think you will be limited to power level 4 or 5 out of 9.Add an intake system,and enjoy.Edge's box is finalyl done,it took them forever,but its finally here too.Edges customer service is great,but Ive had,and heard about to many bad boxes from them recently. I agree the ISBE Cummins has an incredible bark straight piped,it is insane.:cool2:

The cat is gone to and yes it smells like a diesel now. The lemony smell is gone

Well Dad says it is too loud so we put a Borla 4" muff. on it and it still sounds great.

However when we got finished of course dad jumps in and runs it down the road a bit, pulls back up to the top of the loading dock at our shop and jumps out to help me lock everything up.......30 sec later we are walking out the door and the dodge is gone I look at dad a say did you move the truck or something and then we both here a loud crash:eek: :eek: :eek: . The truck had slipped into rev. and rolled back down the loading dock and into our old Well Craft Deep sea fishing boat that was parked in the side parking lotCensored Censored Censored Censored Censored Censored Censored Censored Censored Censored Censored Censored ended up meshed up with the boat trailor so we had to get the big mama Cat 32000 pound fork lift and lift the entire boat and trailer off the bed of the Truck. All in all that night ended up costing more than 10,000 for a simple Muffler install.

I know know WTF. There was enough cussing that night to last for several Sundays. But now a week later we both laugh every time we think about it.

By the way, is the Dodge an auto or manual, because my grandma's 99' auto

went into reverse from park while she was opening the front gate one day:eek:

Luckily there was only a ditch behind her, no damage, just had to pull her out

with the ol tractor.

Auto that is the second time it has slipped out of gear. 1st time it nearly ran over me.

Will the Edge EZ for the 600 run with a duramax with the juice/***.??? both trucks are the same setup. Just wondering cause I think that the EZ is like 65 hp whereas the juice is 120hp

Woolford, did you go to Dodge and rip them apart for the tranny coming out of park?? If I were you, or your dad, I would lobby to have Dodge pick up the bill!!

I believe that the silencer rings can be removed from the Turbo. Even louder and more Turbo whistle. Never done it myself, but I've heard it. It's the S#*T.
