Test drove an '05 2500HD D/A, drives great. But...I don't think I like the raised hood with the flat wall of metal you see thru the bottom of the windshield. Does this bother any body else?? Seems like chevy could have made a better design??? Might just have to go back to the '03 '04 style.

I agree with you completely It looks unfinished, like there should be a plastic insert there to take up that space between the hood and the windshield.

Buy a white one and I'll trade you.:D

I like the looks of the hood from the front. I think it could have used a little more thought on the rear though. It would have been interesting to see it taper so the bulge wasn't in the rear. That would have eliminated what we see from the driver's seat but still given the truck a "meaner" look.

I'm going to have to take a look at the '05 hood from the driver's seat. From the front I like it enough to consider the expense of converting my '04 to the '05 hood and grille.
