first of all, efilive has it spelt incorrectly, Z not S, lol just kiddin.

My OS used to be .....501 but anytime I open a tune file with that cal it says unre. pcm. I can open one ending in 885 and it's fine and will even load to PCM. My uncles is 885..........
What gives?
I get this message even without efi hooked up...I'm thinking I don't have that cal file downloaded so it doesn't recognize it? dowloading update to V7.5 now.
The version I was trying was V7.4

on edit.............Wait a minute I think the ones I"m trying are either DSP2 or DSP5 files. But even so V7.4 has that no?

ok downloaded V7.5 fixed it, but another prob I was having and still am is that efilive cannot communicate with my PCM on my laptop but it does on my uncles laptop. Cables are fine all is plugged in.

Geez you gotta love the english language....Z and S... and then there is OR and OUR (as in colour, favour etc) ....I help out at my daughters school with spelling, and the number of times I go to use Z instead of S is reflective of the amount of time I spend here! It becomes a habbit :)

Plug in FlashScan, reboot your PC and your PC should automatically detect and install the drivers. With 7.5 we automated the driver process.

Didn't work. PC found new hardware, only thing that was automatic is the new hardware wizard came up, and searched online for it and I even tried to "choose from list" and didn't see the drivers.

Drivers are packaged with our software downloads. http://www.efilive.com/download.aspx The latest software is 7.5.4.66 dated August 8th.

i had already tried that.......seems I had version 7.4 hiding, so I uninstalled it and the 7.5 and reinstalled the 7.5 and it worked. Thanks.
