I have a 2003 D/A with the edge 90 hp progmr. Can I run this without any adverse effects? And most importantly does bio really improve engine reliability and economy? Also what's the best blend for a florida climate? I'm VERY EXCITED about bio but need some more hand holding before I make the plunge!

Motors that have modifyed maps actually benifit more from bio than a normal motor. You will be suprised how quiet things get under the hood.
100% bio diesel will gel at 36F. It will cloud even higher. So unless you are constanly above 40 F stay away from 100%.
If you are in a warm climate B50 would be perfectly fine.

Super diesel runs some huge numbers on bio.
Im currently running a 40 hp tune on B20-50, and having the only thing I notice is less smoke, smell, and noise.

Depends a lot on who you buy from and what taxes/rebates you have on it.
3 bucks a gallon for B100 sounds about average. Keep in mind that you add about 5g of this to every tank to make ~B20, so youre talking a few extra bucks/tank. No biggie, better for the truck, environment, country, and my health.
You may be able to get BD untaxed for much cheaper, and use it as an "additive"....

Dan, You can get Bio-Diesel from Sunrise in Norwalk. I'm not sure how much right now though.

Adam, the last time I was there (last fall) they said they didn't have it up and running yet. Has that changed since then? When was the last time you were there and inquired about it? I'd really like to try it out, but can't find anywhere around here that sells it.

Hey Dan,Adam.I called that place about a month ago.Seemed like a decent guy.I believe he told me at the time it was like $2.24-$2.29 a gal./onroad.I think it was B5.I`ve been thinking about getting some also.Have a couple 55gall.drums at work I can use.I actually want to get the b100,and blend it as Mannytranny does.Unless they`ll have some b20 or the like, then I`ll just do that. The price is kind of the key factor for me `cause I live in Parma.Norwalk is about 50 mi. away. Will it be worth it $$ wise???

I think they'll be putting a pump in sometime because I just talked to the lady there yesterday and she said they are supposed to, just don't know when. They have the bio in 55gal drums in the one building, you'd just have to talk to somebody about it.
