I've been looking around at the cost of the EFI flashscan V2 and the only price i can come up with is just shy of 2 grand. But some of my other buddies are telling me that its not much more than my edge so that would put it around 8 hundred. Anyone who has purchased an EFI Live if you dont mind please give me a ball park estimate on what im looking at price wise. Thanks

Here are a few. all of them prive EFI Live Version 2 at $749 e-mail them and see who will work with you on tuning it. I know Nick at duramaxtuner.com will, and i am pretty sure Rob at atptrucks.com will as well.

The basic V2 with tune and tutorial access costs you $749 from me. If you want the premium package including tune library access and the above, the price is $949. Under no circumstance should anybody pay 2k for EFIlive.
Let me know if you'd like me to clear anything up for you :)

Actually a 2005 truck can use a V1 at $549.
However, the V2 is a better value at $749 when you look at the additional capabilities of the V2 over the V1.

It is a common sales tactic to price something incredibly high when you a) do not have the resources / capabilities to complete, or b) just don't want to mess with it. I'm in Sales for an Engineering Service Company and we do it all the time. It's a way to turn down a job without turning down a job. $.02...
