Dan I have a PPE on my 2007.5 LMM diesel. I have the GM update installed and now the engine rattles after I installed my 90 hp PPE. It only does it when I start the truck when it is cold. I do live in Canada and it is getting colder here. The next thing I have as a question is after getting the GM update my fuel mileage has gone down as I would get 20-21 mpg before the update, do you know what has change for my mile to go down to around 18 mpg?:(

That has been an issue with all programmers. I am sure Dan can say for sure if they have the update for it.

x2, changed mine, drove like a completely different truck. Only had 8K miles on the filter and DIC read 60% life, yeah right! Made the econ setting feel like the 90hp setting after changing it. Never could have imagined THAT big of a difference! One other thing, have they switched you to winter blend yet, being that it's getting colder up there? That'll make it drop. Chris

Do you still have your DPF? Get rid of that, big difference.

if you have a tuner with your dpf then yes you mileage will be worse.........more regens less mpg's

there is a thread alrready regarding thid issue and dan from ppe is aware and he is currently testing a new version of he software and will updare everyone one whe the update is available, if you search there is a large number of us who have described the same conditions as you after the ecm update
