Just picked up a 2008 chevy silverado 2500hd CC, and need to pick up some nerf bars for it. Whats the better way to go Chrome or black?
How about brand names that are easy to install, and have great quality.
Thanks,
Greg

I plan on installing a set of Westin#24-4000 ($535.99 shipped) I think they are either polished stainless steel or chrome cant remember I looked at so many different styles and types.

I have the GM tube type chrome running boards, which fit the truck nicely!

I like my Go Rhino's. They are different from your run of the mill nerfs. They come in chrome and black. Pics in my garage

i've never had a problem with the installation of westin products and the stainless chrome has i believe a 10 year warranty...and so you know nerfs from 01-07 Classic body style trucks will also fit

I've had Westin's Chrome bars on the truck for over a year now & have been pleased with them...had MAAP stainless bars on my 05-they got scratched up over time much more so than the Westins..

I've had N-fab step bars for the last two years and have been nothing but pleased with them, as they are strong, fit the lines of the truck well, and have retained their finish. They get my vote. Also, the black looks great IMO.
