: Front Shock Nut Size?

I'm installing Rancho shocks, but I'm having trouble getting to the top nut on the stock front shocks to remove them. I can't see it very well and none of my wrenches seem to fit it.

Anyone know what size the nut that holds the shock on is? Is it the same size as the nut on top of the shock that keeps it from turning?

Any hints on how to get a wrench to the nut without removing the entire plastic wheel well guards? If I buy a deep socket will that make it easier than a wrench?

Truck is 08 3500 duramax

Thanks

Stock shock is 15mm nut on top. I use a 3/8 drive 15mm deep socket and 24' extension and use lots of quick bursts on the impact gun to get them off.

Thank you,

Off to buy the tools.

I've spent an hour laying under the truck trying to wedge my hand in there to reach the D@#N nut while trying to keep the shock from spinning! My frustration meter is at max.
