Looking to see which is better I have edge with ***? Keep on throwing check engine light for egr. Truck has no power. Also I live in the north east.. Hypertech or Diablo Sport Predator????

Well I am biased with the Predator but I am a loley LB7 guy....

I had the edge and then went to the predator. I have never used a hypertech but i love my predator. Shifts better and feels like there is more power on the lower end. I get better MPG with the predator as well. The edge was nice for the digital gauges and the "on the fly" switching of power, but thats about it. This is just my opinion. If you search you will find tons of info on these two programmers. I don't think you will regret the change to either.

DiabloSport on 65hp - best mod for my money, my truck is now getting 23% better MPG than when I bought her.

I don't know the technical aspects of the Diablo or how it works and don't need to, I just know it works darn good.

had both........like the predator better. but imo you could run the ht on level 3 forever...........i would not run over the 65 tune on the predator 2.02 . just my .02$ after buying a transmission.

I suggest going with the Diablosport Predator. Much better bang for the buck.

I never ran the Hypertech on my LLY, but I have run the Hypertech Max Energy and the Predator on my LBZ. No camparison!!!!!!! The Predator wins hands down.

Depends on what you are wanting. I wanted just a little more uumph, but yet something considered 'safe', went with the Hypertech. Have left it on 3 for a little over a year now, daily driving and towing, can't complain. Went back to the stock program several weeks ago just for the heck of it, and a possible re-flash, and can tell the difference in power and fuel mileage. Was a little less than $200.00, including shipping. There is a lenghtly discussion on programers you may want to search for.:)
