Last night I noticed that my radio had some lights out. My presave numbers 1-4 were not light up, but 5-6 were. Also the seek button went dead. I was mad to say the least. This morning, I get in and they are still dead, but I hit my radio, and they came back on. Now can one take the face from the radio and tighten a bulb, or is this just a freak occurance?

Maybe a loose wire that got justled loose a lil. If its under warranty just wait till the next time you are in the dealer to look at it.

I hope so. No warranty. 54,000 miles on her. I am about to upgrade to a better unit, so I may wait and look at it then.

This explains the 4 hammers we have, all of differant sizes.

Find a place that repairs delco radios. Shouldn't cost more then a few dollars to fix it. You could talk to BlueOx, he changes the bulbs to blue. Perhaps he would be willing to change the bulbs with his take out bulbs for you.

Mine did the same thing. My 2&5 preset button lights went out, then about 2 weeks later, suddenly they are working. Dont know what is going on.

Hahah, that's like the answer I give when I don't know a torque spec. Tighten it till it strips and back off a half a turn :rolleyes:
