: Towing product??
Nor-Cal Nick 09-15-2008, 02:23 PM If I was to add towing product to my site would that help some of you? We have been able to sale hitches and other towing related product but not sure if that is a big deal to you guys. What do you thinks, I would like feed back.
Thanks
glamisorbust 09-16-2008, 11:19 AM Hey Nick, anything hitch/pulling related would be great to add to your site. The biggest problem with owning one of these trucks is figuring out where to shop for aftermarket parts that you can trust. There are lots of companies that make bs parts to put on, but most of us want something heavy duty that will last the life of the truck.

Yea I here you. I try not to just sell a bunch of product rather than sell what I know is product that does what it says. I am just looking ahead because I have a new site being built of line right now and I have been changing some product around with the on line store. It's funny because when we started we where very known in the BIG lifted world but as things change I have as well and I have stepped away from all my big lifted toys to find myself being very happy pulling other toys for myself and my family to enjoy. I also see that is a big part of what others do as well. I have been lucky to have a ton of guys trust me in building bad a$$ tow rigs that have a great look but serve a big purpose of getting to and from and not breaking on a trip.
OK so:
-frame hitches
-drop mounts
-5er hitch's
-brake controllers
?? idea's

glamisorbust 09-16-2008, 10:31 PM I agree with all of these guys. I have sort of been toying around with the idea of installing a set of police style pillar mount spotlights for pulling into dark campsites. I have looked all over with no luck yet. I don't know who makes them or where to get them. Also, like these other guys i've been thinking about swapping out all of the regular markers and tail lights out on my toy hauler with LED's. I know it would cost several hundred, but there's nothing like being able to be seen at night time. I think it would be cool if you got into some of the CB radio stuff too, like antennas, radios, brackets, power kits, etc. I am a truck driver and can't live without my CB. Just a few more ideas.

Here's your pillar lights: http://www.unityusa.com/Default.htm You might also consider a magnetic http://www.golight.com/. My toyhauler came with one mounted on the rear roof and these things are bright..
jdugie123 09-17-2008, 12:00 PM more LEDs need to change out all the lights on my trailer right now i only have the stop turns done but the thing is 30ft long i think i could think of some more places for lights

Yea .. I thought about it but from what i have seen happen in SoCal is the UTV boom came and alot of shops that took them on are not doing more of those than trucks. I'm not looking to transfer to a new thing rather add to the truck and after market upgrades.
I'll still love to have one to play with...:)
