Could anyone and everyone who has had injector problems with thier DMax's, tell me what the symptoms are, so i can fix my truck if it needs it before my 36, 000 mi warranty is up. How much do performance chips speed up injector wear? Anyone heard anything about ATS's +95hp injectors for 1800 bucks for all 8? thanks

You are covered for at least 100k on injector failure, but the SES light will come on or rough idle, smoke, low oil pressure. Any of these symptoms. Check your dipstick, if it starts to always look to clean, then you probably have fuel in the pan.You can faster, but it will wear out faster. Keep it stock and it will live forever.

Oil pressure will run about 17 - 20 when full of fuel. I noticed that the pressure will not pick up when you throttle up like the truck normally would.

Jhn-

GM "modified" the warranty on my '02 to cover injectors for 200,000 miles. I believe yours is the same....

Actually, mine's in the shop getting a new set of injectors right now. I saw white/blue smoke coming out of the tail pipe at idle and the gas mileage wasn't the best. I have about 98,000 miles.....
